GlobalFoundries will invest $575 million to establish a new center for advanced packaging and testing in Saratoga County, New York. Governor Kathy Hochul announced Friday that the semiconductor manufacturer has invested more than $15 billion in Fab 8 and employs 2,500 workers in the Capital Region. GlobalFoundries has announced partnerships, investments and executive hires aimed at facilitating further growth.
