NextEra Energy and Google Cloud expanded their long-standing energy and technology collaboration Monday. The companies will jointly develop multiple GW-scale data center campuses across the U.S. The two companies will collaborate in an effort to enhance these technological and AI developments to speed up go-to-market initiatives. NextEra Energy and Google already have approximately 3.5 GW in operation or contracted. The work will include “AI-enhanced” field operations which integrate Googles. The companies say it will be able to more accurately predict equipment issues.
